At KAD, we manufacture and supply KAD-DD30 3-axis mixing chambers for waterjet cutting heads, designed for stable abrasive mixing and consistent jet formation.
The mixing chamber is located inside the cutting head assembly. High-pressure water enters the chamber through the orifice, and abrasive is introduced through the inlet under the Venturi effect. The water and abrasive are then fully mixed and accelerated through the focusing tube to form the cutting jet.
The 3-axis structural design improves internal alignment accuracy and helps maintain stable abrasive suction during operation. This reduces turbulence inside the chamber and ensures more consistent jet formation during continuous cutting.
Compared with standard mixing chambers, the DD30 design provides better flow stability, improved wear resistance, and longer service life in industrial waterjet systems.
